Hot Glass Audio specializes in the complete electrical restoration
and repair of vintage tube audio gear, in order to bring the classic
component back to "original" condition but adjusted
for modern line voltages. We also offer custom mod service suited
for customer and system synergy. Hot Glass Audio also repairs
and modifies modern tube components as well, to bring the circuit
to its fullest. Please inquire.
Here at Hot Glass Audio, we offer three basic categories of service
options:

This option
is designed to replace only parts that are defective, and
to leave all other stock components intact. The Basic service
option is designed to be a low cost alternative. Any model
undergoing this option will be warranted for a period of
90 days, and is guaranteed to meet or exceed the manufacturers
published ratings for the device. Customers have a choice
of what make and model of replacement components are used,
or they may choose to use our basic service components,
which are high quality replacements.

This option
is designed as a service to fully rebuild a device. All
coupling, blocking, bypass, filter, and power supply capacitors
are replaced and updated with premium types, all plate,
cathode, PS, and bias resistors are replaced and updated
with premium types, etc. This service offers a 1-year warranty
(excluding tubes), and uses all premium components. Customers
have a choice of what make and model of replacement components
are used. We also have our standard premium parts package.

This service
provides modifications requested by the customer, and components
selected by the customer. Some custom modifications we offer
are; power supply stiffening, bias adjustment for each individual
output tube, circuit engineering, filter and EQ bypass,
etc. Please inquire for other custom modifications. Hot
Glass Audio will honor most modification requests within
reason.
