Hot Glass Audio will be posting some of our mod package ideas that we have found work well with certain amplifiers.

These well be suggested packages for vintage as well as recent tube components each lending itself to a variety of refinements some bringing the circuit into its own while others transforming the gear into a better package.

Of course, as always, any and all of these mods can be customized to the customer's needs and preferences. For instance, coupling capacitor choice can have a major impact on the sound; specifically, what works in one application does not always gel in another. Hot Glass Audio can give you ideas on what works best and with consultation, we can come up with a mod package that might better suit your system and tastes.

What we have found out is that what one might call detailed and lifelike, another might see as harsh and overly bright. Arriving at the proper balance and system synergy is a tough task but is achievable.
